Recently moved from Tassie to Sydney and keen to get back into playing and making music.

I love singing. My vocal style has been compared with Justin Hawkins (The Darkness), Maynard Keenan (Tool & A Perfect Circle) and Dave Grohl (Foo Fighters), but I would say I work more to emulate the style of Ian Kenny (Karnivool & Birds Of Tokyo) or Pete Loeffler (Chevelle). And yes I can hit the notes - just don't expect me to be able to sing "I Believe In A Thing Called Love". I won't be grabbing my crotch that tightly haha

Equally happy with either covers or originals. I have written several originals which my old band in Tassie worked on, but due to lack of resources at the time never really got off the ground. So these would be available for use if desired.

When I say "written", this essentially involves the lyrics, the vocal melody and most of the music. This all happens in my head however as unfortunately I have almost no musical talent outside of my voice! Instead I have used a midi keyboard and computer software to convert my "thoughts" into "sounds" so the rest of the group have a clearer picture of my ideas.

Although I love the rock, I'm pretty versatile, and I have heaps of time for all different types of music.

Here is a video my old band posted on YouTube of a song I wrote called Victim Of Self Doubt. It was recorded in a makeshift studio (a shipping container), in one take, so it's a bit rough and very uncut.
