We are TROUT WIZARD, a three piece psychedelic band hailing from Eora/Sydney. We are currently on the hunt for a new drummer! Both Gus and I (Jeremy) are between 25-29 years of age, but we are flexible and don't mind too much.
We rehearse weekly in Marrickville and have been consistently doing so for a year up until our drummer moved away in January.
Our sound could best be described as somewhere within the realm of psychedelic rock; we meld elements of surf, punk, 90s alternative, garage, and Sabbathy sludge riffage to create a heavy-hitting wall of fuzzed-up noise.

Influences
Our music taste is pretty schizoid, but some influences as a musicians include the typical 60s/70s stuff like the Allman Bros, Cream, CSN, Zep, Hendrix, Leaf Hound, Grand Funk Railroad, Sabbath, Cowboy, Mountain, Steely Dan, Canned Heat, Santana, The Band, Country Joe, etc, but I love a lot of the super sludgy stoner/doom music (Earthless, Melvins, Witch, Electric Wizard, etc) and alternative 90s too.
EQUIPMENT
Multiple electric guitars (LP, Tele, Strat), acoustic (dobro and regular), harmonicas, flute, banjo, mandolin, amps, FX pedals, etc.
Also have a bit of studio gear that I use for rough demos/mucking around.
