We are a five-piece band (vocal, lead guitar, keyboard/rhythm guitar, drums, bass). We formed as part of All Age Music's Adult Band Program a few years ago.
Location: Sydney - Inner West (Marrickville/Stanmore).
Demographics: The current lineup is 50+ males. However, we would also be thrilled to have a female bassist join us. Passion comes first.
Genre: We gravitate around "Alt Rock", but we play a range of genres. We primarily play originals (we have four songwriters), but we also play covers depending on the gig. Currently, we have 15 originals and about 8 covers. We prefer to avoid songs that have been "done to death" or have become cliche.
Experience: We all have at least three years of experience (some much more). We have played about ten gigs (mostly Open Band nights) and are looking to gig regularly and record. Ideally, you can reasonably quickly learn and become proficient in our range of originals and covers. We also want someone who wants to continue to grow as a musician and band member. Vocal/backing abilities are a bonus. You can, but don't have to, contribute your originals.
