Hi guys my name’s Matty but everyone calls me Scramble.
I’m looking to start a new exciting folk/blues/roots group with a bunch of talented musicians.
I’m a singer guitarist and I’m in need of a drummer, bassist and another one, two or even three musicians who can play any or a combination of guitar, piano/organ, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, trumpet, pretty much anything that fits the genre!
Obviously those who can play more than one would be beneficial as not all instruments will be needed every song.
My biggest requirement (with possibly the exception of the drummer) is the ability sing or at least harmonize with the vocals as I would ideally love to create some beautiful overtones in an almost gospel like manner at times. I’d even love to have others sing songs at the main vocalist if it fit.
I’m a huge fan of Bright Eyes, Bob Dylan, and lately massively inspired by Nathaniel Rateliff, here’s an example of the vibe of music I’d love to create.
