Influences

Green Day was the band that made me want to pick up a guitar in the first place. The mix of simple power?chord riffs, catchy melodies and raw energy showed me that you don’t need to be overly technical to write songs that hit hard and stay in people’s heads. Watching the way their guitarist drives every song with tight, punchy rhythms and big choruses made me want to be that person in a band—the one holding everything together and firing up the crowd. Their records and live performances pushed me to learn my first riffs, stick with practice, and chase that same loud, honest, no?frills punk sound on my own guitar.
