Hi folks, I sing and play guitar (mostly electric) with two groups.
Number one is me and Jon on fretless electric bass. We're mostly doing soul kinda stuff (Ain't no Sunshine, Bring it on Home, Ain't Nobody, Long Train Running, Vallerie, Knock on Wood...) but we can, and have done all sorts. We were gigging but mislaid our other singer.
We'd love to find someone to share the singing - lead and harmonies, or just harmonies. Preferably plays an instrument to fill things out as well. You also need to enjoy coffee and cake...
Number two is me with Tim on bass and Ian on keyboard. We're doing things like Everybody Hurts, Angel from Montgomery, Ziggy Stardust, Dead Flowers, What's so Funny about Peace, Love and Understanding, Alison, Changes, One (U2).
We're looking for a subtle drummer who, ideally, can sing as well. But drumming is the main thing.
This is more of a two beers in the afternoon situation, but don't let that put you off.
