ABOUT

Hey, I'm actually 17 but don't let that fool you! While scales aren't my forte I consider myself quite a reasonable rhythm and lead guitarist, and having started on bass I'm alright at that too. As well as that, like Miles Kane, I have a bit of a hard-on to be a frontman but that's not totally necessary, I can sing well either way.

In terms of gear, a Squier Standard Tele, a Fender MIM '65 reissue Strat and a Squier Bronco Bass are my go-tos, all of which I'm plugging into a Fender Rumble 40 until I get a decent guitar amp. As it is I only have one pedal, that being a Mooer Blue Faze (silicon Fuzz Face clone).

P.S. my writing skills are adequate - sometimes (better if I've go something to work with)

Influences

I grew up listening to The Beatles (obviously), Soundgarden, The Strokes, Spiderbait and the like but more recently I've gotten into cheesy 70s pop and funk for the sheer fun of it (case in point - Use Me by Bill Withers). Because of all this my music taste has turned into a weird fusion of stoner rock, funk and indie with some psychedelia thrown in for good measure
