Hey, Im the leader of an experimental punk band "Mrs Deadline and the Excuses".
I say experimental punk, but we have a lot of Influences. Goth, post punk, folk, psychedelic, grunge, indie and dsbm are some of the other genres that are prevalent.
Im getting the band together to be able to do live gigs, and after talking with my lead guitarist, we've realised he's not quite the right fit.
Im looking for a lead instrumentalist who can keep up with complex song structure (tempo, time signature and key changes).
What sort of Instruments am I after? Guitar, sax, violin, harmonica, flute, literally anything that can be played as a lead instrument.
As for what sort of genre/vibe I'm looking for in a lead instrumentalist, I would love to experiment with what you can bring to the table.
Our last lead instrumentalist was very bluesy and that genuinely worked quite well. So, im open to jam and see what happens.
