Ihi I'm Michelle
I've sang all my life ( as most passionate vocalists do )
Professional experience has been backing vocals. ( studio ) Pitching ads ( studio ) so very flexible.
Alas I love Jazz and have never followed this dream rather than other/s dreams re music.
So I'm of a professional level ( rusty )
But need experience and maybe a little coaching. But would learn quickly and be an asset.
I am not musically trained so this is where the coaching aspect comes into play.
I have sang with Jazz ensembles impromptu including a piano bar in Paris. So I'm a bit of an anomaly.
Very keen to use my gift
I love all the old time jazz favourites but with my own touch.
I never plan how I will sing a song. It just goes the way it goes. By feel. I love Jazz as it's not only focused on the vocalist but the whole band.
I am considered a contralto female vocalist so I don't generally fit the key a sing is written in. I'm usually somewhere in between the female and the male notes.
