I'm quite broad with what I play, pretty much from ballad-y songs to metalcore and anything in between. I'll be fingerpicking one day and be hitting some 00000s in drop Z the next.
I'd say my forte would be metal, as I've had the most practice with that but am very versatile and willing to play most styles. I'd consider myself an able rhythm guitar player and a decent lead and bass player.
Came to music about 2 years ago and there hasnt really been a time where I've strayed from it. In my earlier times I played mainly with mates in a garage covering blink-182 and green day but I got tired of playing the same songs and went to playing my own preference songs. After a little while of 1 on 1 lessons I went a little bit more serious and joined a 'performance school' that pretty much did gigs as a school but even that is a bit restrictive on what we play (not much choice) so now I'm here.
