Blackened Rose is a mix of old fun 80's style hard rock or glam like Skid Row, Warrant or Bon Jovi and beautiful melancholy of gothic metal of Type O Negative and HIM. Rich low range of lead vocalist Aleksei Iagunkov (ex-Step in Blood) provides charismatic leadership for shredding guitar solos and melodic keyboard passages. And so Blackened Rose has a wide variety of sounds from tongue-in-cheek jokes and innuendos to dark and deep lyrical ballads.
