I've been writing and recording originals as a hobby for close to twenty years. I've played drums in a few bands but I'd rather front a band for a change. I want to play guitar and sing. I need to work with a bassist, a guitarist with the ability to play leads and a drummer to form a four piece. I'm happy to collaborate with songwriting but I have heaps of my own to bring to the table and that's why I'm looking to put a band together rather than join another.
I have time off during the week to hang out, write and rehearse. I work weekends. If the project looks promising and we start locking in and producing great demos then I'd be happy to start gigging on weekends but I don't want to go on stage until things are good. I'm not doing this to pick up chicks or have something to do on the weekends to fill in time.
I want to meet people with creativity, skill and a passion for creating original music.
