Once a month we Jam in a real studio in Waterloo Sydney and in some cases you don't have to bring anything other than your smile and your rehearsed performance. My name is Shane if you are reading this you too are a musician who wants to play with other people but have either not yet found the right people or are a little put off by the audition process. As a musician who has studied for over 10 years, I too have tried to take the next step from bedroom to stage and found that most ads for musicians are seeking seriously skilled musicians with live experience. I also found that ads for a more ground level experience were rare and very disorganised and as a result I was often disappointed by how quickly the energy would wane. I have found via creating the Sydney Jammers Meetup that there are many other musicians who would also like the opportunity to meet and play with like minded people who are also interested in sharing their unique talents.
