Hi there! My name is Jackson and I have been a singer-songwriter and playing rhythm guitar for three years. I have a lot of creativity and confidence within me and I am looking to express it! I am fixing to form a Roots band to compose and play mainly originals. Root's being a umbrella term for many different genres of which I wish to pursue such as; world music, folk, blues, jazz, latin afro, flamenco, indie-folk, funk and ska. I am looking for mainly melodic musicians and a percussionist as I already have a bassist and a drummer. If you play a brass instrument, a interesting cultural instrument (mandolin, sitar, etc) or a accordion. I want muscians who will be reasonably committed to making something, who can practice at least once a week, and have aspirations to compose, record and gig. Musicians must be creative, somewhat experienced, be able to improv and must be friendly :). Someone from inner, east or south Sydney would be preferably as we practice around these areas, but if your from north sydney and don't mind making the trip that's up to you.
