The vision is a stripped-back, expressive two-piece in the spirit of Gillian Welch & Dave Rawlings — space, tone, interplay, dynamic restraint.

Advanced acoustic guitar ability
Confident playing up and down the neck
Strong melodic instincts and tasteful fills
Sensitivity to dynamics (not overplaying)
Ideally some mandolin and/or other acoustic instruments
