Desert Runner has been playing together since Jan 2023. Members are split between Bondi and the Inner West. We've released 4 songs and have another pack ready for the release pending some vocal work. Our single Badass Van got primetime plays on Triple J. Haven't done any marketing or promotion in the last 6 months and still have a decent monthly listener count. Our vocalist moved to Adelaide, drummer and one of the guitar players got busy with work, so we are reforming. We're not super interested in having a full band roster anymore, we know plenty of drummers and guitar players who can step in if we need them. We are looking for musicians, particularly vocalists to collaborate on for future releases Not too hung up on gender or age, Just looking for good creative people who want to be a part of our musical world. Moving forward we'll be leaning a bit more into Stoner / Doom rock. We are building our visual band identity around the works of Frank Frazetta, Blade Runner, Anime like Akira and Ghost in the Shell. So we are open to collaborate on any type of music that fits into that world.
