Graceful of Songs
I am a 22 year old Female solo singer songwriter and musician who is based in Naarm. I play healing melodies with words of wisdom and encouragement. My music is inspirational, catchy, quirky, sometimes improvised and my own honest expression. I seek to be me and share my innermost feelings and hope to allow others to do the same to help them to receive guidance from their own intuition through the sharing of mine.
I play piano and guitar shifting between spiritual tunes and melodies ('DO YOU BELIEVE IN A HIGHER FAITH?') and folky/gypsy melodies of upliftment (CHANTING---'I I I I DO') in a song about self-belief. Who am I kidding, it is all spiritual as I focus on tapping into something greater than me in both my songwriting and performance style. I am an observer of life and what it means to evolve and my songs are like a witness statement to life (‘LET THAT BE MY GREATEST INSPECTION’).
However, I don't really define a genre, I just aim to let the full expression of me shine in my music, to try to help others emotionally.
I have a background in psychology study and more recently spiritual counselling, and these learnings become integrated into my songs.
I aim for my performance style to be slightly comedic, charismatic and reflective. I am also a poet and actress, so storytelling is always paramount and I provide a layered performance.
