i’ve been doing a bunch of writing and recording and i’m now looking to start a band. you can check out the 3 i’ve recorded on my profile.
although wolf is basically done, the other 2 tracks need a lead part. it's the same story for most of the tracks i've written. i'm looking at get a lead on board to put some trippy, psychedelic over the grooves and help develop the tracks a bit.
i’m going for a shoegazey postrock sort of sound. i’m after a lead who’s really into creating cool, atmospheric guitar sounds rather than a shredding situation. there’s loads of space in the tracks i’ve written for soloing. it’s very guitar and groove-based and it really just jams with “choruses” every now and then. it’ll live and die by what the lead can do. i’ve got the skeleton of all the tracks but need that whole other dimension of guitar sound. in the linked tracks calling and forest, the lead parts that are there in the grooves between choruses are just placeholders. i
’m singing on the track, but i’m not committed to singing. if you're a better singer, i'm more than happy for you to take the reins.
i only started guitar relatively recently, but i'm playing and singing in all the attached demos. i can play my parts in all my tracks no worries.
