As a kid I played initially accordion (influenced by my dad) and then quickly moved to guitar, although I played guitar, professionally I played bass in my late teens around country northern country VictoriaI until reality set in and I was persuaded to go to University and get a real job in Melbourne. I played bass around Melbourne in in various reception bands for about 4 years
Since then I have been family person and sort of career person but my music has been a big part of me (and what gets me out of bed) and continued to play acoustic guitar and some bass part time in various mainly acoustic pub gigs around Melb.
Now that I am not fully dependent on work income, its time to have some fun and focus back on playing music.
My aim is to get back into playing bass professionally as my main instrument and happy to play other instruments as required. I have been taking singing lesson over the last couple of years so can hold a tune.
