I'm looking to put together or join a Steampunk band. I'm on the central coast of NSW. I play sax and some Hung Drums - both ok but willing to give it a go. You must want to dress up in the outfits of the genre - top hats, goggles, cogs and eclectic Jules Vern meets the Victorian Era. Up tempo, fun music that gets people up and dancing - they cant control it - and hopefully I find people in the mix who can collaborate with me that knows how to write some originals - I can do it in my head but getting it all out is my problem

Influences
Come from all areas - there are some Steampunk bands out there and they are great fun to listen to - if you have no idea what I am talking about have a listen to Steam Powered Giraffe, Abney Park, The Cog is Dead, Vernian Process and go from there. I guess it is Blues meets vaudeville, and a bit theatrical - come have some fun
