Hello Everyone we are Deep South Music a Southern Rock band from Melbourne. We have 6 members plus our manager with most of us being under 25 and mainly play originals with some obscure covers from the deep south.
We are currently after a committed lead guitarist preferably under 25, blues-rock influenced and versatile. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of their instrument, dynamics and comfortable playing with a metronome as we have big plans ahead.
We play live every fortnight with gigs lined up for the rest of the year. We have a residency at the East Brunswick Hotel where we play every first Thursday of the month and good relations with venues we have played in before. We have released a single on youtube called "Too Far" and plan to record an album this year.
We currently rehearse every Saturday Afternoon ( + occasionally weekday night) in Kindred Studios Yarraville or the Hen House in Brunswick. We are based in Essendon and the surrounding suburbs.
