Alternative rock singer/songwriter. Currently I'm involved in writing, recording, and performing originals as a lead vocalist, both solo and (when time and kids permit) in collaboration with other artists. I'm also highly skilled in backing vocals and harmonies. You can listen to my vocal style and range in my covers (most recorded informally on my phone while all the studio gear was in storage - but you'll get the idea).
I've been singing my whole life, have been involved in and/or co-created a couple of cover bands and an original band over the past decade or so, and set the gigging aside a few years ago after having kids. Recently I've been writing new music during those rare childfree hours and am feeling powerfully drawn back to performing again. I'd describe my current songwriting style as cinematic progressive rock (check out my close-to-completion WIP "The Fool"), but I'm versatile and open to exploration to find that perfect sound.
I'm an amateur harpist and have been dreaming of exploring electroacoustic harp elements in live performance. I'm also a mostly-self-taught amateur pianist/keyboardist who picks things up quickly, and I've been teaching myself production when I can.
