Canberra Opera is a community-based opera company providing specialised training and opera performance experience for singers, musicians and production staff. Established in 2011, CO's principle aims are:
To assist singers who wish to pursue a career in opera with the training and performance experience necessary for further professional engagements with opera companies
To provide a strong opera chorus and build a community of people interested in opera
To bring opera to a wider audience by providing the Canberra region with entertaining and affordable opera productions.
