Band to Join.

ABOUT

Based in Melbourne's south east suburbs. Been playing since 10 years old and have been in a variety of original and covers bands over the many years (ie, rock, heavy, blues and country). Have recorded 6 CDs and have a you tube clip with over 1.3 million hits. Main bands I have been in: Matt Borg Trio (funk), Electric Blues Collective (high energy blues), Andrea Marr Band (blues), Ruckus (country), Deepest Purple (DP covers), Live Lizzy (Thin Lizzy tribute), etc.

Looking for a well organised band (ideally covers / tribute) that is gigging at least once a month around Melbourne. I would love to also consider a progressive rock outfit if it ticked all the boxes.

Influences

All Aussie Rock, Purple/Zep, Sting, Yes, Toto, Rush, Tower of Power, Porcupine Tree, Living Color, Extreme, Van Halen, Judas Priest, Frank Zappa, Foo Fighters/Chilli Peppers, Kansas, Journey, Aerosmith.....you get the message.......my preference is on the heavy side.

My drumming influences are covered in the above bands mainly but grew up worshipping fusion drummers such as Billy Cobham, Stanley Clark, Lenny White. My biggest current influences are Vinnie Coliuta, Gavin Harrison, Todd Sucherman, Ian Paice, Will Calhoun and Alan White.
