I’ve spent the last 20 years playing in bands that thrived on making things difficult by pushing music until it bent or broke. That chase for the edge was always about finding truth in expression. Every project was a collision of voices with everyone adding their own colour.
Most of my past work was instrumental and built on the urge to push boundaries but now I’m drawn to something different and hoping to sink into the craft of songwriting with vocals. Songs that breathe and cut close to the bone. Dark and brooding, I'm imagining the palette is red, blue, and purple, reverberated, deliberate, delicate and hypnotising.
I’m not a lyricist or vocalist and that’s the element I’m primarily searching for. Someone who wants to collaborate in the studio, search for something deeper and bring it to the surface.
