ABOUT

I am a Rhythm/singer/songwriter who started as a front man in a Punk Band in the UK after my best friend and I turned off folk music in 1976. In 1982, we decided to meet Paul Weller, he was not aware of us but I made myself aware to him at airport and handed him a demo tape. In that time we busked across Europe. We had various line-ups and in 1983 we were given a record deal with Cherry Red Records and Albion Publishing in the UK through Paul Weller. Our first single was a UK Top 100 widely played in East Coast College Radio. Another track was on a Compilation Album with the likes of REM, the Clash and the Specials. After touring Europe on many occasions and the Record Company going bust, I came to Oz in 1987. Here, I have worked with and recorded with Paul Hester, Oliver Jones (brother of Daniel Jones of Savage Garden), gigged with Brendan Cassidy, Dex Ryan, Michael Thompson and many others. I've held gigs for 2 years Park Road Milton acoustic solo, and 10 years at Oxford Street Bulimba. I have played nearly all venues in Brisbane and South east Coast. My goal is a Publishing Deal. I recorded in Airlock Studios in July 2021 and am going back to record in April 2022. I am seeking musicians who are artistic and can interpret my songs. I believe in band creativity. I am not an egotist so I expect no ego from the band.
