ABOUT

Hi I used to sing in a local Bundaberg high school band in grade 11, 12. We were called "Urban Break" We only played once for the Shalom Catholic College social - We did marilyn manson - beautiful people and rage against the machine - sleep now in the fire. The last band I was in was a local Bundaberg band called "Jon Doe" We played one gig above the metropolitan hotel - We sang three originals, mudvayne - (K)now (F)orever and a Sevendust song - I can't remember the name of the song. Do not confuse me with that tatooed, bearded red head who was their original singer but replaced me when I left. I am a big guy and no Brad Pitt haha but I can scream and sing melodically. Haven't been in a band for around 15 years from memory. Will need a bit of practice to get back into it again ;-) Singing at home or in my car while driving doesn't cut it haha. Also haven't been to a karaoke night in ages. My signature songs were puddle of mudd - blurry, stone sour - bother and greenday - paranoid. (I think that's the name of the song) Used to sing at the QLD'er Bundaberg - the guy who hosted it's name was Rick. I gave up smoking and drinking, no longer have piercings and don't have any tattoos. That is just my personal preference I don't judge others based on their physical appearances or lifestyle choices.

Influences

First band I ever got into was Korn (first CD I owned was Life is Peachy - lol and apparently that is termed as one of their worst albums) Loved slipknot and fear factory. I like a wide range of metal. My favourite slipknot album is "Iowa" Don't mind ill nino - their earlier stuff as they went softer in the latter albums. Like a bit of Karnivool - an awesome singer - He is hard to replicate though. Dry Kill logic, Static-X, Tool, Mudvayne. Most of the well known bands. Sunk Loto was an aswesome australian band as well - their second album was very heavy I preferred that - the vocalist would have asbolutely killed himself touring that album haha.

EQUIPMENT

Depending on finding other band members can save and buy a decent quality P.A. system and a microphone. I used to have both but sold them to my replacement in Jon Doe.
