ABOUT

I’m looking for a female vocalist[s] that would be interested in recording lead vocals for my project Velatine. At the moment my focus is to work with different singers and not commit to anything as I’m keen to explore some different styles of singers. You’d have a strong voice, somewhat rock but you’ll probably be unique and understand alternative culture, whatever that is these days. You’re the one looking for the challenge of being part of something unique. Trained or untrained, loads of experience or not, it’s not that important. I’ll know if you’re right for this, I’m looking for self confidence, presence, chemistry and ability.
Velatine is best described as Electronic, Modern Gothic, Industrial Pop. It doesn’t exactly fit any genre but draws from many and I released an album earlier in the year with singer Maggie Alley on vocals. At this point I’m keen to just see how various singers interpret the new material I have ready to go. If it’s obvious that your contribution is incredible then it being released and further collaborations is not out of the question. There’s already interest in Velatine both here in Australia and support from many of the top electronica magazines in Europe so for the right person the potential is promising.
