My name is Trick and at the moment I'm a one-person pop-punk band. I'm an emo kid who maybe never grew up. I'm a queer, masculine identifying, non-binary human who's been writing lyrics since I was a kid.
My previous endeavor, Backyard Murder, fell apart after conflicts with my former bandmate. I'm now seeking a drummer, guitarist (or two), and potentially a co-vocalist (a la blink 182) to add to my bass and vox. I'm still a noob, definitely still learning, but since I was a kid I always wanted to be in a punk band.
My former bandmate decided he wanted to keep the name I helped come up with, and so I've settled on Safeword as a little nod to my own lifestyle and interests for this new (and hopefully far better) adventure.
