Meanjin/Brisbane outfit Torizon proudly defines themselves as a “petalcore” act, fusing metalcore and alt-metal elements with the infectious hooks of pop music. Unafraid to explore the full spectrum of human emotion, their live shows are driven by downtuned riffs, propulsive rhythms and vibrant synth arrangements. Commanding vocals oscillating between raw vulnerability and fierce intensity, cascading melodies and cathartic screams, courtesy of dual vocalists, create an all-encompassing wall of sound.
Their latest run of releases has seen major traction, with single ‘Bloom’ landing Apple Music’s Breaking Hard Rock editorial playlist & racking up over 10,000 Spotify streams in its first week.
