ABOUT

Meanjin/Brisbane outfit Torizon proudly define their sound as petalcore, a striking fusion of metalcore grit, prog flourishes & pop’s infectious hooks. Their music dives unflinchingly into the spectrum of human emotion, driven by downtuned riffs, pounding rhythms, vibrant synths, and vocals that move from raw vulnerability to fierce intensity.

2025 saw Torizon unveil their debut EP ‘Meliora’, exploring the challenges of infertility, earning support from Music Feeds, Backseat Mafia, The Music, Apple Music’s Breaking Hard Rock, The Riff (AU/NZ), New In Rock (AU/NZ), and Bring The Noise (NZ). Standout single Bloom surpassed 10,000 Spotify streams in its first week, alongside radio support from triple j, Unearthed, 4ZZZ, Radio Adelaide, SYN Media, Edge Radio, 2SER, and PBS FM. The release was followed by a successful headline tour, finishing off with a packed-out home show.

In the live arena, Torizon's high energy shows has seen them perform with Circles, Valhalore, The Last Martyr, Days Like These, These Four Walls, Aurateque, NTH RD, AM//PM & Last Words.
