ABOUT

Looking for a band or duo or jam buddies in my local area, Sydney Inner West.
Competent musicians only.
I mainly play lead guitar - solos as well as creative accompaniments to vocals. I like playing a wide variety of styles. I am looking for mature age musicians who are of professional standard and creative. In a band situation I would like to do a variety of styles, with ample room for creative jamming and my own interpretation. My tastes in music have always been very broad, with an enduring love of blues, soulful ballads and anything with a good strong rhythm and a tight rhythm section. Nowadays I mostly prefer more laid back styles - Americana, swamp blues, soulful music with interesting lyrics and a good story line. At the moment I'm listening to Peter Green (Splinter Group), Ray Bonneville, JJ Kale, Tony Joe White, Delbert McClinton, The Gadfabouts, Andy Fairweather-Low.
I would love to get together with other musicians to play music with deep grooves, lots of space, intensity of feeling and catchy melodies....I am avialable for daytime as well as evening practice / jamming sessions.
