ABOUT

Hi good people of Bandmix! I'm a Songwriter/ beatmaker and guitarist looking for band to join, writing partners, music collaborators to start a group with. I've been gigging since I was 16, toured in my 20s and then played in bar bands on and off after that. I prefer to be writing and working on original music. I recently moved back to Sydney from the US and am looking to play as often as possible. Previous groups have been indie, punk, emo bands, folk/ country group and rock/ pop bar bands. I do some vocals - a reasonable back up level, probably not strong enough to front. Really dig a wide variety of stuff - City and Colour, Gaslight Anthem, Hotwater Music, Soccer Mommy, Boy Genius, Bully, Iron Chic, Menzingers, Tigers Jaw, Coheed, Titlefight, Turnstile, Madlib, Freddie Gibbs, MF Doom, Nas, Vulfpeck, The Roots, D Angelo, John Mayer … Post-grad diploma in creative writing. I've rated myself as a moderate player as there are some incredible players out there but for most popular styles I'm solid.
