Hi, our band has been performing in SA for more than 15 years. We are looking into up-coming work into 2026.
Scottfree are also looking for a sound engineer. Must have a rock ear and know their way around a live show. The sound engineer usually helps with setup and pack up of the PA.
We play rock pop with a female lead and crowd involvement in a good popular show. We have a good reliable stage presence and can work with anyone who knows how to craft a live performance by learning the song, grooving as a team, and enjoys a laugh when rehearsing and performing.
We are at our best with relaxed team players who can hold their own.
I’m a part time guitar player. I play cause I love the groove, a laugh and a rewarding skill - like live performance.

Influences
My band's influences are mostly classic and modern mega hits from quality top 40 bands and artists. We like to turn studio recordings into a live performances and use bar sales as our success metric. We are influenced by what is popular, tasty and goes down well.
I am influenced by Knopfler SRV, EVH, and Bernth. I just love to play... it's stress relief, fun and rewarding to support such a prolific singer with string skills and stage craft.
EQUIPMENT
We use a quality PA and gear, new strings for every show and just a few essential effects like kick ass overdrives and modulation.... wireless of course.
