I used to play music full time and have gigged, recorded and toured extensively. My experience ranges from playing in hard rock bands, progressive rock bands, acoustic bands, cover bands, folk bands, country music bands, orchestras.

I've typically done originals music, but I'm also open to working in a covers bands. I'm not exactly time rich anymore (family, work etc.), so I'm looking for a quality band that might rehearse once a fortnight (perhaps weekly to get things moving at the start). Prefer people like myself in the sense that they have been out there and really done it, given it their all, but are now happy to accept that dreams of fame and fortune are long in the past and just want to play for fun.

Influences

Although I've made a point of learning and playing as many styles as possible, I do lean toward either your more classic solid 4/4 rock (Baby Animals) or crazy off time stuff (Porcupine Tree, Mars Volta). Some of my favourite bands to listen to are: Puscifer, NIN, Karnivool, Primus, The Tea Party.

But, musically when it comes to playing I am far more interested in playing in a band with people I get on well with who are good at what they do. So don't let the above stop you from saying hello!
