This means, hello, my name is Thunder Hawk. I am an Oglala Lakota Sioux American Indian raised and living here Down Under. My English name is Luke.
Music is the strongest part of Lakota culture, and so rhythm is in my blood. Coming from a family of great singers, singing for me is like breathing air. I have to do it, and when I do it, I have to do it PERFECTLY. To say I am a perfectionist would be a great understatement. I strive for excellence in every song I perform & record. If I do not meet excellence, in my mind or in the minds of others, I am the first to call it out and coach myself further to ensure I do only my very best.
I sing multiple genres, have a four octave range; I play the native flute and beat the tribal drum.
