LEAD VOCALIST WANTED

‘The Rockstars’ are currently seeking a male lead vocalist to join our established band. Our current lead vocalist is moving on to whatever comes next in life, creating an opportunity for a new lead vocalist to transition into the band over the coming months.

We are seeking an experienced vocalist (or vocalist/part-time guitarist) with an ear for detail. Must be passionate about delivering a quality product, but views music and being in a band as a hobby and fun first and foremost. We all have families and full-time jobs and ideally are looking for someone in the same demographic; 40s/50s; although we are flexible for the right person. We gig on average once a month. If you play a bit of rhythm guitar that’s a bonus but not a pre-requisite.

Based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, we play the songs of a wide range of artists and genres centred around 80’s pop/rock, but also delve into classic and worthy tunes from the decades either side. With significant attention to detail, we recreate these tunes as the audience know, remember and love them. All the sounds and hooks of these classic hits are played 100% live... no backing tracks.
