The City Summer has been around since the beginning of 2011 under a different name (Avaine), but line-up changes in April 2012 led to a name change to suit our new image and sound.
In less than 6 months we have played a variety of shows in different venues around NSW, and have an EP on the way.
We are currently looking for a rhythm guitarist/back-up vocalist and bassist!
We're looking for someone who likes pop punk/alternative rock bands like Paramore, You Me at Six, All Time Low and Tonight Alive.
We want people who are fairly skilled at guitar or bass, capable of singing and with good stage presence. You should also have decent gear and reliable transport, whether that's your own car and license, or very devoted parents.
