Writing and recording originals. Lots of song ideas in recorded form (hear uploaded examples). Tend to write on guitars set up in "alternate" tunings. Musically open but tend towards "alternative" music whatever that means now.
Been jamming with a variety of people and are currently meeting every weekend with another guitarist and drummer, working on writing songs, arrangements with the idea of putting together enough songs for a short live set.
Also currently looking for a bass player or someone to cover the low end frequencies. Open for another lower register instrument to round out the sound as well i.e. cello with someone interested in playing that instrument outside its traditional role i.e. bowing but also doing walking bass lines.
Looking for someone's who can:
(1) Lock in with the drums (if bass) and or serve the songs melodically i.e. not overplay
(2) Is interested in playing live and recording when the songs are "in place"
(3) Is comfortable writing bass lines
(4) Is another songwriter who wants to split songwriting duties and work on original songs in collaboration and or bring song sketches to jams
We tend to share song and jam demos via WhatsApp for ease of bringing forth ideas, documenting the songwriting process.
Ultimately also interested in a serious recording project with the end game being a mixed and mastered batch of songs i.e. an EP for physical or digital release. Contact directly at - andrewtenison at g mail dot com.
