ABOUT

I am a singer/songwriter from the Sunshine Coast. I quite frankly can't remember a time when I didn't sing. I performed in all manner of school stuff, choirs and many musicals comedies before I was 18. Since then I have been in a number of Original bands. I have also did voice-over work for ads and radio work . I've never actually been in a cover band but occasionally stand-in for the lead singer in a band called 'Hell-Bent' from Newcastle so have many covers in my repertoire. I'm a late bloomer to songwriting and have recently taught myself to record using a MBox2 Mini interface and create music using midis with Protools. I also collaborate with a 'online' studio and other musicians worldwide.

I would be interested in jamming with others with view to starting a new band or joining an existing band/duo/trio that was open to a wide variety of genres as well as being open to playing my original material as well of course their own. I have a good ear for pitch and harmonies and a 'sound' understanding of music, thank to years of choir, piano and singing lessons.

A cheap Martinez guitar that I play very badly;
A 30 yr old Casio keyboard that has seen many better days;
A good set of vocal cords!
And a good musical brain that knows how to write a song
And lastly a good sense of humour!!!!!
