Keen to jam with some people and make friends. Prefer to work on originals, but happy to do covers as well.
Looking for either: acoustic duo (a la Angus and Julia stone, Damien rice and Lisa Hannigan, jazz trio, world folk, or a sonically layered rock band of the 4-10 person variety.
History:
18 months playing keys and backing vocals for a quality-focused pop rock cover band including recording demos and monthly gigs. I also helped out with the website administration and choosing set lists.
3 years with Phoenix Light Band (original funk soul) as keys and bvs. Check out spotify and YouTube.
I also have 5 years experience directing a church band (weekly gigs!) and have classically trained and accompanied choirs and musicals.
Piano/keys: I can play by ear or sight read, love to improvise in a fair few styles, and willing to learn new genres as well.
Singing: Great at harmonising. Keen to do backing vocals rather than lead.
