ABOUT

Sam has been working as a session guitarist since 2007. He has done a wide range of session projects ranging from pop, rock, metal, hip hop, latin, electronic, reggae, dub, classical to experimental. His wide musical diet has helped him achieve this.

Sam's attitude to session playing is one of putting in 110% effort at all times to make the client as happy as possible. He is capable of learning whole sets of music in very short amounts of time, and has even performed gigs with choirs and bands unrehearsed!

Sam's hard work has led to endorsements with Orange Amplifiers, Gibson Guitars, Planet Waves cables and D'addario strings.

Sam's playing has been featured on many releases; highlights include playing alongside Danny Heifetz (Mr Bungle), Dale Crover (The Melvins), Carla Kihlstedt (Sleepytime Gorilla Museum) and Toshi Kasai (Big Business). Live he has toured around Australia with pop, rock, experiemental and world music acts as well as played alongside international acts such as GZA of Wutang Clan, Tatsuya Yoshida, The Protomen and Australian acts such as Dialetrix, Horrorshow, Gully Platoon, Whole Lotta Love Led Zeppelin Tribute show, and supporting P!nk at Allphones arena on the truth about love tour.
