Looking to reform my old band from the mid 2000's. We previously went under the name Sky Blue Faded. The band was founded after the demise of Western Sydney Alt-Rock Band The Mirror Phase back in 2006 by guitarist Matt New and drummer Dean Vardon. Later on Will Harrison would join based with Leigh Marks taking on vocal duties.
Over the 2-3 year period we gig with many local bands and just as we were gaining momentum and being asked for support gigs by the established prog-rock bands, we started losing personal.
Since 2009 Sky Blue Faded has remained dormant until back in 2013 Matt New met Boe Donaldson, an aspiring and remarkably talent guitarist from Gunnedah. The two connected and have been working hard to re-establish what was and what can become of this band with so much potential.
