I've played guitar since I started high school. I've always had a thing for live music and for me to be able to do that too is awesome. I can also play the drums but guitar is my main passion. Rhythm is my preferred option although I am able to break in to lead but I'm no Satriani or Petrucci. Originals is what I'm looking to do but you have to chuck some sweet covers in there too.
My wife and I recently had a daughter. Now we're over the initial shock of everything I'm able to get out. I am a shift worker. I do a 4 on 5 off roster. So practice sessions would need to work around that but it shouldn't be an issue.
