Hi,
We are a Singer/Guitarist and a Drummer forming a 3-piece pop/punk band. We both have a decent amount of experience and play good equipment.
We are looking for the right Bass player/back up singer.
Bands of potential influence include:
Green Day, Alkaline Trio, The Ramones, Jimmy Eat World, The Descendents, The Bronx, Hot Water Music, Weezer, Nirvana, Jawbreaker, Nofx, Polar Bear Club, Bad Religion, Foo Fighters, Sex Pistols, Violent Soho, Millencolin, Lagwagon, Blink 182/Boxcar Racer, Refused, Luca Brasi, Rival Schools, Pulley, etc.
Tuning is Eb with a little bit of Drop-Db.This would suit a P-bass or Jazz bass player who is into a slighly overdriven bass tone, but that does't mean we want a sloppy player. We need someone who plays tight, can make up cool lines, can give and take input.
Must have live/studio experience and be confident with back up vocals and some solo singing/yelling parts.
Good gear (or interest in), experience, motivated/commited are all crucial points..
We currently have someone who is filling in at some rehearsals, but they have other projects and can't commit permanently. In the mean time we are writing, rehearsing, searching for our 3rd member...
Age can be early 20s to mid 30s.
