ABOUT

I'm an experienced bass player who has been playing for around 5 years, playing original and cover material in multiple genres of music including Pop, Rock, Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Blues, Reggae and Singer/Songwriter. I have done many professional recordings for original artists and also played many live gigs including ones with an 18 piece big band.

I am looking for a professional standard band or artist in view of regular work or touring to further my career. I am very committed and hope to hook up with some like minded professional musicians.

Influences

Some of my musical influences are Rock and Pop from the 60s, 70s and 80s eg. 10cc, The Police, Cream, The Beatles, Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Weather Report, Herbie Hancock, Blood Sweat & Tears, David Bowie, Supertramp and YES etc.

With some current musical influences being Silk Sonic, Robert Glasper, Amy Winehouse style bands and types of R&B, Modern Jazz, Rock and Pop.

Bass Players that influence me are Jaco Pastorius, James Jamerson, Tony Levin, Tommy Shannon, John Deacon, Leland Sklar, Jack Bruce, Chris Squire, Carol Kaye and Chuck Rainey.
