ABOUT

Professional keyboard player moving back to Hobart from Melbourne in November 2021. Experience in Band and duo performances (Rock, Blues, Folk, Jazz, Funk, Latin, World Music), composition and music production. Also, I love playing percussion (e.g. Djembe). I used to play the guitar, too, but very much out of practice. Happy to join or start a band playing some Blues, Funk, Motown - whatever, as long as it's fun, funky & relaxed! Open to experimentation, creating originals and unusual line-ups. Intend to start playing music again after longer break, so probably a bit rusty still. You can check out some of my recordings of covers that I did a few years ago - all tracks played by myself on the MOXF. I just want to play for fun with a bunch of relaxed and friendly musos who are on my wave length. Looking forward to start in a couple of months (i.e. in 2022) as I'm still busy relocating.

Wide range of influences: Rock (e.g. King Crimson, Yes, Gentle Giant, Peter Gabriel etc. etc. ), CSN&Y, Folk, Ethnic, Fusion, Blues, Jazz, Latin, Classical (especially "early", pre-baroque music). Not at all into Pop or mainstream.
