I am a South Indian percussionist, I play a drum called the Mridangam, I play at a professional level and play for all the top musicians in the South Indian Classical music scene.
I want to venture out into playing for western music, I am open to all music styles and can adapt fast. I am particularly interested in playing for pop music, jazz, rnb or anything for the matter. The drum I play is melodic, it has a pitch and can be played to any scale.
I've been playing the mridangam for over 25+ years and have collaborated with members of the Australian Art Orchestra, Cocos Lunch, members and professionals at NMIT and many more.
