Ahoy - We are Rum Runners, a Melbourne based Epic Folk Metal band.....
I know you're thinking AHA another Alestorm wanna be band.... but ALAS we are far, far more than that and much more heavier.

We love a good blackened headbang as much as a good shanty.

We are looking for a dedicated Metal vocalist - this means we would love to have a new captain on board to join our pre-existing 4 captains.

Our ideal vocalist would be able to do gutterals/ fries (think Black Metal or Death Metal) as well as rock style cleaner singing as we bring emotion to our set.

For a full idea on what our sound is - please give our music a listen to understand our newer sound from our latest EP released in May 2025. We're dedicated and looking to release our album come 2026 - and have been invited on many a good gig, with greater opportunities on the horizons.

EQUIPMENT

We utilise the normal band equipment for a metal band - no surprises there - however we are indulging our musical prowesses and skills into incorporating orchestral backings along with our heavy sound - we provide a full experience show.
