ABOUT

I am a mature musician looking to get back to playing. Money is not the object , good music appreciated by others is. ( However , if a few shekels came my way , who am I to complain!) There are many venues that I have played at as , in the "old days" I was in a trio playing weddings , parties and anything our manager could arrange. Flexible in approach and familiar with most popular ( and sometimes not so popular ) genres , music is my passion and my main source is 3MDR , at which I am a volunteer.

Influences

These range far and wide but I know that at 16 I discovered CCR , at 18 Hendrix , Cream, Beatles , Stones, Steeley Dan .Matt Taylor and Chain, Jethro Tull ( I saw them Liverpool last year) Moving on to Chaka Khan , E, W and Fire,Isley Bros, I still listen to their stuff, usually done by younger artists on YT and then stuff comes out of left field like Popa Chubby comes to mind , Anni Piper, Jessie Lee and the Alchemists, Joan Shaw Taylor, Sue Foley , The 12 bar Blues band and on it goes!
